Samsung Pay

Samsung Pay Review. Enjoy Convenient Payment

The application works and is accepted in almost every store, including those that use the older point-of-sale terminals. Notably, merchants don’t have to update their hardware or acquire any new program. Here’s a review of this handy app.

Interface

The Samsung Pay Android app has a functional design that streamlines the use of all the features. The homepage is designed with a light hue that highlights the latest promotions, while Samsung Rewards and my saved cards are displayed below. Even on my first day of use, I didn’t have a hard time navigating within the application. The sleek design and simple interface get a solid 10/10.

Key Features

While most other digital wallet tools work with specific terminals and card reader varieties, I can use the Samsung Pay app wherever EMV chip, NFC, and magnetic stripe cards are used. I can also store any of my cards that has a barcode. Therefore, it’s possible for businesses to update the loyalty programs they offer by issuing coupons, cards, and certificates that have barcodes for customers to store them in the digital wallet easily. By doing this, I can still gain points and rewards regardless of whether or not I have my card with me.

The Google Play app for Samsung mobile devices works with the Galaxy Note 5, S6, S6 Edge, S6 Active, S6 Edge+, S7, S7 Edge, S8 Plus, and Galaxy S8. Furthermore, it is available on Gear S3 and Gear S2 (only works for transactions that are on NFC terminals). There are no in-app purchases for this app, and the latest version comes with a sleek interface that allows for seamless navigation. 10/10.

Usability

Samsung Pay is both convenient and extremely easy to use. In fact, once it has been set up, you don’t even have to turn your device on for you to effect payments. This is one of the attributes that make me use it on a daily basis. The simple setup will take up less than a minute of your time, and it consists of installation and capturing your debit or credit card with the camera. The app has no lags and has never crashed on me. On convenience and performance, the app scores a 10/10.

Bottom Line

This Android mobile application is hands down the most convenient method of wireless mobile payment. I find it secure, fast, and easy to use at whatever location. Despite the several setbacks that can be disregarded, the convenience offered by the app is still worth trying out. I would recommend the app to anyone with a supported card and capable device.
