Target Review. Enjoy Convenience While Saving

Whether you’re shopping at home from your mobile device or at the store, or planning a trip, the app will help you make exclusive savings. Here’s a full review of this app.

Interface

One of the features of convenience in this app is the simple design and straightforward user interface. With the typeahead feature located at the search bar, it’s easy for me to find whatever I’m looking for faster. The developers also seem to be keen on accessibility as the app supports font resizing, further boosting readability. The overall user interface and design of the Target iOS and Android app deserves a score of 10/10.

Key Features

One of the most attractive attributes of the app that’s attractive to me is the Wallet feature which I find to be the easiest and fastest way of saving and paying in-store. I also like that I can plan my next Target run efficiently by checking out the Cartwheel offers, Weekly ad and item availability from one place. I will then streamline my run with aisle location and store maps. Moreover, I can scan barcodes to check item reviews, prices, and any available deals.

The latest version has several feature enhancements, and I find it easy to locate items that I prefer through the Wellness badges. I also get to view up close the specific item before it arrives at my door since the new product detail pages allow me to zoom in. The update also comes with additional performance improvements and bug fixes. Notably, there are no in-app purchases.

On compatibility, there are Android and iOS versions of the app. The Android one requires version 4.4 and over, while the iOS app works with gadgets beyond iOS 10.0 and runs on iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad. I would rate the features and functionality a 10/10.

Usability

The iOS and Google Android app is a reliable shopping tool. However, I’ve experienced lags, and the app has crashed on me once while performing an item search. But the updates fix a significant number of bugs. I also find some of the tools and terms a bit confusing. Regardless, I still like that I can add my debit or credit RED card to my Wallet and redeem or pay for any available Cartwheel offers by scanning once at checkout. This section scores a 10/10.

Bottom Line

The iOS and Android mobile app, just like many others, comes with its setbacks, but you can fix them with regular updates. Most importantly, the app performs its functions efficiently while offering a great deal of convenience. I like the features and functionality, and I recommend the app.
