Halo Sets a New Paramount+ Record!

  • Greg Burn

The talks about turning the Halo franchise into a full-scale movie started back in 2001 after the release of the great Halo: Combat Evolved. It took over 20 years for this dream to come true. At last, Halo is available on the Paramount+ online streaming platform.

Worthy?

Although Paramount+ is currently one of the smallest streaming services on the US market, it has already had several successful titles. However, the Halo series premier has quickly become the most popular release on the platform so far. Halo managed to beat the previous largest franchise, the 1883 series, which grossed almost 5 million viewers. We don’t have the exact number of Halo viewers yet, but it’s clear that there are over 5 million viewers already. The exciting fact is that Halo managed to attract so many viewers just within the first 24 hours after the premier and only 2 episodes.

Xbox Benefits

If you have an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription and live in the US, Canada, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, or Finland, you can get free access to the Paramount+ platform with all its series for 30 days. The offer expires on May 23, so you should hurry up to get your free pass and enjoy the brand new Halo series for free.

Time to Binge!

The first two episodes are already available on Paramount+, while the rest will come out every 7 days, starting from April 7 (Thursday). According to the series director Rupert Wyatt, there will be 9 episodes in season 1. The last episode comes out on May 19, so you can watch the entire season with a free pass if you have one.
