Modders Fixing Textures in ‘GTA: The Trilogy’

If you are familiar with the famous Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition, you know how things are with the quality of textures in GTA: San Andreas. Today, this level of graphics is considered unclaimed and outdated. This inspired a modder with the nickname Nigeez, who decided to create better textures in his GTA SA Project Texture Overhaul mod.

Mod With Better Textures

The mod is already available to all fans of the game, and it's aimed at improving the most visible textures in GTA: San Andreas. This mod improves the quality of the texture of roads, which in the new resolution creates a completely different atmosphere in the game. Now you can evaluate updated versions of the SF freeway and LV area, with all main roads being updated.

In addition to high-resolution road textures in 4K, modder plans to improve other textures already present in the game. It also includes new textures of mud, sand, rocks, and concrete. Pavements and tiles around Los Santos and San Fierro also have been updated. Mod adds about 85 new textures, and this is not the limit. The game fans can wait for big updates, according to modder.

The Most Recent GTA Update

Since the release of the remastered versions of all three games, many modders have been working on their improved versions of the Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy - The Definitive Edition series. The remastered collection was so hated by fans that Rockstar had to temporarily remove it from the official store. Rockstar previously apologized for the state of the remaster and promised to return the originals to the platform.

Rockstar also promised to release a series of updates that would eliminate numerous bugs and other problems. The company has already released a patch, which has fixed about 50 bugs.
