TikTok Makes Another Step towards Small Businesses

  • Greg Burn

The more businesses flourish on TikTok, the better it is for everyone. So TikTok spares no effort to attract new merchants, and if they don’t know how there is an educational program now. That’s what the new business-oriented program is about. Named Follow Me, it offers 6-week educational courses on brand building and marketing possibilities on TikTok.

How does one start an e-commerce project on TikTok? What does it take to attract your audience and keep it loyal? TikTok has already done a lot to establish support for businesses, from enabling them to monitor their activity and measure their performance with marketing metrics to releasing a free video editor and multiple manuals. Various free tools for performance boosting are also a part of this merchant-friendliness, just like the Follow Me initiative.

It will offer webinars, lectures, and examples of successful campaigns by both beginners and established brands. The most interesting part of the educational process, though, is horizontal communication with other business owners. Those at about the same level as you aim to can share some tips explaining how they got where they are.

The course starts on July 11 and will last until August 19. It’s not too late to join in, though. The materials are available once they’ve been published. All you need to do is subscribe and receive the emails that tell you the rest of the story. There are various options depending on what your marketing budget is, but regardless of it, even if you want to invest $0, there are still useful tips.

Are you selling something on TikTok? If not, are you buying? What do you think about the current state of e-commerce on this social media? Do the efforts pay, at least in your case? And would you like to learn more and potentially open your own TikTok business if not yet? Please tell us what you think about it in the comments!
