WhatsApp, the instant messaging app owned by Facebook, is reportedly working on a new feature to provide users more control over their conversations. The new feature, spotted in WhatsApp for Android beta v2.23.8.2, will allow users to lock specific chats using their fingerprint or passcode.

This new feature allows users to easily ensure privacy by locking their chats. Currently, the entire app can be locked on the smartphone using a face ID, fingerprint, or passcode. This new feature makes it easier to secure private conversations.

WhatsApp is always updating its features to provide users with a better experience. This new lock feature is an example of WhatsApp’s effort to make sure that users have complete control over their conversations. It is also a great way to add security and privacy to chats.

The new feature is currently available to users who have signed up for the Google Play Beta program. However, it is not yet available to the general public. WhatsApp is expected to make the feature available to all users soon.
